Regional Manager Wealth Management will be accountable for leading the Wealth Management team within a defined territory. This includes Investment Specialists, Investment Advisors, and Sales Associates. There is also a partial accountability (dotted line) for the licensed Financial Advisors who are an extended part of the wealth team and offer mutual funds and financial advice. The primary accountabilities of the role are to:

  1. Ensure that the delivery of wealth products and services within a defined geographic area is a seamless and integrated experience
  2. Ensure our mission; “To assist our members with their financial well-being by providing objective advice, financial planning solutions and competitive products and services” is achieved through recruiting, support, coaching, and leadership.

The Regional Manager Wealth Management will be current with industry trends and is expected to provide input with respect to recommended changes that will enhance member and employee experience, revenue, and compliance in their area and for the organization as a whole.

This role will help to ensure the wealth team lives the brand by ensuring members and employees feel at home, leverage the fully integrated financial services platform and promote Servus as a good corporate citizen. They represent Servus in the communities in which they work and live.

As a leader within our Credit Union, this role will play a vital role in the growth and profitability of our organization; and enhance the financial well-being of our members and the retention and engagement of our employees.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years’ experience in the wealth industry including securities, compliance and financial planning.
  • Thorough knowledge of sales management practices including financial planning, products, policies, procedures and operations.

Licenses/Certificates:

  • Financial Planning designation (CFP)
  • Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course
  • MFDA or IIROC licensing
