As a Member Service Representative II (MSR II), you are part of a dynamic retail branch team. As a role model for MSRs, you play a key role in delivering great service to our members. The MSRII fosters an environment in which our members feel at home, perceive our staff as knowledgeable, and view Servus Credit Union as a good corporate citizen.

What does an MSR II do?

  • Plays a key role in delivering amazing personalized service to our member-owners
  • Gets to know our members and helps them complete basic banking transactions deposits, withdrawals, loans and bill payments, money orders, credit card advances, selling foreign currency, cashing cheques and more
  • Starts great conversations to find out what each member wants and needs, then connects them with the product or service that‘s right for them
  • Resolve routine member concerns and complaints in accordance with our service standards and escalate issues where appropriate to the Supervisor, Assistant Manager Member Services, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager.
  • Complete a variety of administrative tasks including data input, reconciliation and review of accounts and system generated reports.
  • Provide support to the Supervisor and fulfills their duties in their absence.

What skills does an MSRII need to have?

  • Exceptional customer and sales skills and experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to answer questions and solve problems
  • A talent for seeing opportunities to offer or refer products and services
  • The ability to work well with others and thrive in a team-based workplace
  • A gift for developing positive, professional and lasting relationships with members and co-workers
  • A knack for working quickly and accurately at the same time
  • 1 – 2 years retail banking experience in an MSR/ CSR role
  • Minimum of grade 12 education is required; a business degree, diploma or certificate is a bonus

Please note: This is a part-time position, 30+ hours per week.
