On November 24, the Government of Alberta declared a state of public health emergency due to rising COVID-19 cases in our province. As a result of this announcement and the measures that will be put in place in response, here’s what you can expect from Servus.
We’re keeping our branches open as much as possible
We learned a lot from the first wave response to COVID-19. While we supported our members to meet their banking needs online and over the phone as much as possible, we found that some members still need to come into our branches for some of their business.
Because of this, we will strive to keep our branches open and maintain the current hours of operation as much as possible.
Depending on the spread of the virus and its impact on our staff, we may need to adjust hours or close a branch temporarily, but we will do so as a last resort and will keep you informed of any changes that might impact you.
Help us keep our members and employees safe and healthy
With the rising spread of COVID-19 across the province, protecting the health of our members and employees is extremely important. Please help us by:
- Conducting your business with us virtually (via online, mobile banking or ATMs) or over the phone wherever possible.
- Our employees all wear face coverings to protect members, protect each other and prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you come into one of our branches, we hope that you will wear one, too.
We’re here for you
We know that these new measures, and the long-term impacts of COVID-19, may pose financial challenges for many of our members. Our employees are ready to help you find ways to manage through these immediate challenges while also supporting your long-term financial fitness.
