If you're a Servus member you're already entered! You have 1 entry for every $1 you earned in Profit Share® Rewards cash in 2021, up to a maximum of 10,000 entries (i.e., $500 in Profit Share Rewards cash = 500 entries).

If you're not currently a Servus member, you can enter the Contest by becoming a member and saving and/or investing your money with Servus during the Contest period. You will earn 1 entry for every $500 that your Servus savings balances grow between January 1 and April 30, 2022, up to a maximum of 10,000 entries.

I'm not a Servus member, am I eligible?

Yes! As long as you meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Official Contest Rules, you can enter the Contest.

Can I get more than one entry?

Definitely! You can earn entries based on the money you save or invest with Servus during the Contest period. You will earn 1 entry for every $500 that your Servus savings balances grow between January 1 and April 30, 2022, up to a maximum of 10,000 entries.

Which accounts are my entries calculated on?

Your total Contest entries are calculated based on the savings grown and maintained across your Servus membership, including chequing, savings and term deposits (both registered and non-registered). For existing Servus members, this is in addition to Contest entries received based on 2021 Profit Share Rewards cash.

Are business members eligible?

Yes! Servus business banking members automatically have Contest entries based on your 2021 Profit Share® Rewards cash. You have 1 entry for every $1 in Rewards cash you received, up to a maximum of 10,000 entries. Business members also have the chance to earn more entries for the money they save and invest during the Contest period.

I'm a Servus member, but I don't want to participate in the Contest. How do I opt out?

You can opt out by sending an email to thebigshare@servus.ca, with the following information:

• Your name
• Your mailing address
• Your member account numbers you wish to be withdrawn from the Contest

How do I enter without making a purchase?

No purchase entry criteria are outlined in the Official Contest Rules.

How do I know how many entries I have?

If you're a Servus member, you can find out how many automatic entries you have based on your 2021 Profit Share Rewards cash by checking your Servus Big Share Dashboard in online banking, calling 1.877.378.8728 or by visiting your local branch.

What are my odds of winning?

Individual odds of winning are dependent on the total number of Contest entries received. You can increase your odds by earning additional entries based on the money you save in a deposit product, including chequing, savings and term deposits (both registered and non-registered).

Are the winnings taxed?

The Canada Revenue Agency does not require you to pay tax on the winnings themselves. However, as with any other type of income, you will be subject to tax on any money your winnings generate.

How is the winner chosen?

A random draw will be conducted from among all eligible entries received to select one (1) potential winner and up to four alternates. The selected winner must satisfy all conditions of the Official Contest Rules (including becoming a member if you are not already one), including completion of a skill testing question.

When will the winner be announced?

The Contest winner will be announced in June 2022.

How will the $1 million prize be paid?

The prize will be paid as a direct deposit into the winner's account, once eligibility and other requirements have been completed according to the Official Contest Rules.
